2025-2026 Registration
Online registration for the 2025/26 hockey season will open on Monday July 15th, 2025 and close on Monday, September 15th. If the registration for your player's level has closed and you live within Chester's catchment area, please email
registrar@chesterravens.com to enquire about available space on our teams.
If it is your first time you will need to create a Spordle Account. If you are a returing user and have forgotten your password please use the "Forgot Password" feature on the regsitration site to reset your account.
Residential Boundaries
Players residing within the following Hockey Nova Scotia defined boudaries must first register in CMHA, as this is your home association:
Beginning at a point along Highway #3 where it is intersected by Martin’s River , then in a Northwest direction along an imaginary line that is also the South boundary of the Municipality of Chester to the Kings County Line. Then Northeast along the Kings County line to the Hants County Line. Then Southeast along the Hants County line to the Halifax County Line and continuing Southeast along the Halifax County line to Highway #3. Then along Highway #3 to Ingraham River Bridge. Then South along the Coast back to Martin’s River . Where Highway #3 is mentioned , communities on both sides of the Highway serviced by Highway #3 shall be included in this Boundary. Some of the Communities included in this Boundary include: Aldersville, Aspotogan, Bayswater, Beech Hill, Black Point, Blandford, Canaan, Chester, Chester Basin, Chester Grant, Deep Cove, East Chester, East River, Forties Settlement, Fox Point, Fraxville, Gold River, Hubbards, Ingramport, Lake Ramsey, Leville, Marriott’s Cove, Martins Point, Martins River, Mill Cove, Mill Road, New Ross, New Russel, Northwest Cove, Oak Island, Queensland, Seffernville, Western Shore.
Age Requirements
Children born on or before December 31st 2021 are eligible for this season. Note: If your player is not yet 4 years old, a warning window will pop up during the registration process. Please just proceed past this warning.

2025/2026 Hockey Season Fees
All players in Chester this season are being offered ten additional raffle tickets (worth $5 each) which can be sold to offset $50 of their player's costs if their ticket fees ($125) are paid in full by August 31, 2025 and their full registration fees are paid on or before Friday September 26th, 2025. z

Raffle Tickets

Ticket fees ($125 for all players at all levels) are due on August 31st. Players are encouraged to resell their raffle tickets to offset their hockey fees.
PLEASE NOTE: Children will not be permitted on ice for the season until their ticket money is paid in full.
1st place wins $1000
2nd place wins $500
3rd place wins $250
Completed tickets are due back to CMHA in early December 2025. Reminders will be sent on Facebook and by your team managers, to turn your raffle tickets back in for the final draw.

First half of season payments are due by September 26th

Second half of season payments are due December 1st.

CMHA accepts post-dated cheques and e-transfers. With all payments please ensure your player's name and team level are noted on your cheque or in your e-transfer notes. e-Transfers should be sent to treasurer@chesterravens.com
Financial Support
Hockey is a financial committment. Thankfully there are supports available for families in financial need, to help cover the cost of regsitration fees and gear for youth sport.
ProKids
A local community program that provides financial assistance to children and youth 18 years or under living in the Municipality of Chester who, due to lack of funds would not be otherwise able to participate in sport, recreation or cultural activities. The grant can be used to cover registration fees and/or gear. To apply visit:

Provides grants to kids from families facing financial barriers to help co er the costs of sport registration and equipment fees so taht all kids in Nova Scotia can experience the benefits of sport. To apply visit:

JumpStart Program
Tryouts with Other Associations

Any U11/U13/U15 players who wish to tryout for a higher level of hockey than is being offered in Chester this season (for example, AA or higher) are required to register first with CMHA as their home association and then send a written request by email to Dan Board,
president@chesterravens.com for approval.
Requests for tryout releases are due September 10th, 2025. If these steps are not completed, you will be unable to tryout.
Please ensure you check the deadlines set by other associations to register your interest in tryouts, pay your try out fees and complete any required checking clinics (for U15 and above).
